There are numerous myths surrounding becoming a foster carer; one of those being ‘single men can’t become foster carers’. This misinformation has prevented many single male carers from applying to foster. Earlier in the year Jim Bond; the president of The Fostering Network spoke to Community Care about his experiences of becoming a single male foster carer.
