Foster Care is always in need of high profile advocates to speak out on behalf on children in foster care. Bruce Oldfield has always been vocal about his own experiences in the care system and now he is advocating for more post care support for all care leavers. Any foster carers or parents reading who have children of 16 plus will understand what a huge step this is for any child, and with surveys indicating that the average age to leave home is 24 years, children in foster care placements have a huge mountain to climb to succeed in the wider world.
