There are many misconceptions about the qualifications needed to become a foster carer. The first is that there are any qualifications!!  Foster carers need to have a spare room, endless patience and dedication ….a good sense of humour helps as well!!

One of the biggest misconceptions is that only married, heterosexual couples can apply. This is simply not true…… applications to become foster carers are welcomed from all who have the right skill set and dedication to offer homes to vulnerable children throughout the UK.
