New research has shown that the average age to leave the parental home is now 24. However, vulnerable young people in foster care are often moved on from stable placements before the age of 18!
At Fostering Connections we fully support Fostering Networks campaign: ‘Don’t Move Me’, which calls for young people to be allowed to remain in their foster placements until they reach 21 years of age.
