I found this article about Fostering / Foster Care and Adoption on BAAF’s website and it struck a chord with me. At present the government is striving to increase adoptions for children in the UK but there are concerns that this could have a detrimental effect on foster care and fostering and see children adopted too quickly and eventually suffer traumatic placement breakdown.
